How to disable directory listing in Apache

All you need to do is to located following file

Apache2\conf\httpd.conf

You need to locate the line somewhat similar to

Options Includes Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews

If you are unable to find above one search for “Indexes” you might be able to find a line mentioning

Options Indexes

Remove “Indexes”

All directory listing will be disabled
