My contemplations and diurnal novelties are publicized here

I fell uncomfortable, how start menu works in Windows 8, thinking to install windows 7 back but then i came around this tweak.

  1. Launch the registry editor (win+r > regedit >enter)
  2. Drill down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
  3. Double-click on RPEnabled
  4. Change the value from 1 to  (zero)
  5. Tap enter or click OK

The change will take place immediately — just tap the Windows key on your keyboard twice to try it out (the first press will slide the Metro start screen back into view).

Unable to find RPEnabled in my Window8 now  will try adding this to registry

  1.  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
  2. “RPEnabled”=dword:00000000
